Howdy Veggie Friends,

We are seeing some fun items this week, such as patty pan or scalloped or flying saucer squash and dragon tongue beans. The recent downpours and wet weather destroyed our leafy greens so instead we’re offering veggies such as golden beets.
Alas still almost no local stone fruit, I work with farmers in NY state, PA and NJ and all I can see offered from any of them are the peaches we are getting. It’s quite shocking to see the stone fruit crop pretty much wiped out. The NY Times actually wrote an article about the stone fruit blight if you’d like to read it.

Enjoy your veggies and happy eating, folks!
